Every year, NIIT hosts their annual conference, an exclusive by-invite-only event, where key Industry leaders come together to discuss the role of learning in driving performance. The 5th Edition of the confluence was hosted virtually on Vibo.
The NIIT India Confluence 2022 was an exclusive event that offered a panoramic view of how learning is driving performance across industries. The theme for this year was ‘Transformative Learning for Achieving Business Outcomes’ – which takes forward the discussions held during last year’s Confluence. Professionals took away some key learnings from the various industry leader address sessions and power-packed CXO, GCC, and Fintech panel discussions.

Virtual conferences have become increasingly vital in the modern world, demanding innovative approaches to ensure attendee engagement and satisfaction. NIIT’s past experiences with virtual events left them yearning for something more – an immersive, real-life experience for their attendees. To meet this challenge, NIIT partnered with Vibo, an online conference platform, to transform their annual Confluence into an extraordinary virtual conference.

NIIT sought to reward active attendee engagement to enhance participation and interaction. Vibo introduced the ‘Leaderboard,’ a groundbreaking feature that tracked and rewarded attendees for various actions such as booth visits, scheduling meetings, reactions, playing games, and taking selfies within the virtual event environment. This gamified approach ignited attendee participation, creating a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.
NIIT aimed to make their event trend on social media platforms. Vibo introduced the ‘Selfie Zone,’ allowing attendees to take selfies with custom frames and upload them to a dedicated ‘Selfie Wall’ within the virtual event. Attendees could also share their selfies on their social media profiles using the event’s dedicated hashtag, #niitconfluence2022, enhancing the event’s social media buzz and trending status.
To further elevate attendee engagement, Vibo incorporated a ‘Gaming Zone’ within the virtual conference. Attendees had the opportunity to play games, fostering camaraderie and enjoyment.
Vibo provided a ‘Networking Lounge’ to facilitate meaningful connections. Delegates could connect, share ideas, and build relationships, replicating the networking opportunities of physical events within the virtual conference.
To ensure a smooth flow of the conference, especially with virtual speakers, Vibo introduced breakout rooms. This feature allowed seamless transitions between pre-event discussions and live sessions, eliminating interference and disruptions during the virtual conference.
The 5th Edition of NIIT Confluence exceeded all expectations. Vibo’s capabilities impressed NIIT, and attendees lauded the immersive experience, attendee rewards, Selfie Zone, Gaming Zone, and Networking Lounge.
